Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Boiling water
  • 3 tsp Instant coffee
  • 2 tsp Soft light brown sugar
  • 250 ml Milk Your choice
  • 100 ml Water
  • Handful of ice cubes Plus extra, for serving if you wish

Instructions

  • Start by mixing the instant coffee and brown sugar with the boiling water and mix to a smooth paste.

With a blender:

  • Add this mixture along with the milk and cold water and blend for 30 seconds until frothy and well combined. (This makes it more frappe-like.)

Without a blender:

  • Make the coffee and sugar paste in a large glass with the boiling water, then stir in the cold water. Top with a handful of ice then pour over the milk.

With a coffee machine:

  • Replace the instant coffee and the boiling water with 2 shots of espresso. Mix the hot espresso with the brown sugar until the sugar is melted. Then follow either of the above options to finish your Iced Coffee.
